Review: BlazBlue (PS3)
+'s
-looks fantastic (beautiful graphics and color schemes)
-interesting and unique fighting game mechanics
-tons of content (story modes for each character, arcade mode, online, etc.)
-'s
-story makes no sense
-already a limited number of players online (only 2 months after release)
Neutral
-12 characters (some have unlockable Unlimited versions)
Overall, this is a very good fighting game. Probably the second best fighter I've played in the last few years next to Street Fighter IV.
Review: Shadow Complex (360)
+'s
-Super Metroid with 3d graphics (and you can shoot dudes in the background)
-very good presentation (music, sound effects, graphics, and voice acting)
-fun as hell (see my first bullett--what else do you need?)
-You will want to play the campaign again and again
-'s
-minor control issues (the aiming is a bit finicky here and there and the platforming can be slightly frustrating in spots)
Neutral
-The campaign takes about 6 hours
-The challenges are pretty fun and add a bit more to the gameplay
Overall, my favorite downloadable game yet, and the best game I've played for XBLA.
